Back on Track Act

Nevada’s students have struggled in the best years but the pandemic set students back further. Today, former teachers, Assemblywomen Marilyn Dondero-Loop and Natha Anderson, stood up for Nevada’s children introducing the Back on Track Act designed to provide free summer school services, mental health support and transportation for students who need help recovering from isolation, depression and loss of skills after a year of remote learning.

We applaud our Nevada leaders for this innovation and for stepping up to support Nevada’s future. While the Back on Track Act is just a bill in the legislature, there is a way that YOU can help. Call your legislators and tell them to support the Back on Track Act. You can find your legislator here: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/whosmylegislator/
