West Las Vegas Promise Neighborhood

The West Las Vegas Promise Neighborhood is a bold collective impact initiative launched by the United States Department of Education in 2011 to break the cycle of generational poverty by wrapping children in a seamless pipeline of health, social, and educational supports from birth through college and career.

Nevada Partners, Inc. was awarded the Promise Neighborhood grant in 2013 and has relaunched the project with new vigor and commitment from critical community leaders and organizations that are centered around five main pillars: The future of work, Affordable Housing and Wealth Creation, Education and Youth Development, Healthy Communities and Families, Civic Participation and Social Justice.

As a community partner, MPower 360 plans to use its resources to activate collective impact and drive successful outcomes for all of the five pillars and to drive programs and engagement within the Civic Participation and Social Justice Pillar.
